OB Odense Nigerian striker, Peter Utaka is hoping to score more goals for his Danish club to propel them into the Champions League next season.
The £2.5million-rated striker who notched up ten goals in the Superliga told Ijaw boy that having missed a chance of sealing a move to Germany in the winter transfers he has resolved to run out his contract with the club.
“I have resolved to play in the Champions League with my club and it would be exciting for me to score in the competition if we scale the qualifying rounds. It’s really frustrating when you don’t get your wish to join a league you desire so much.”
The 26 year old striker who earned his second cap for the Eagles in the national side’s friendly game against Sierra Leone further stated that his elder brother’s return to the French Ligue 1 was to rediscover himself after a torrid spell at Portsmouth.
“John is a good player and I think his fans would see the best of him when he starts playing for Montpellier. I’m sure he would rediscover himself in the French League where he made his mark with Lens and Rennes,” he said
